Daniks.AI vs Perpetua 2026 — Honest PPC Comparison

Ekaterina Rubtcova 10 min read

Ownership disclosure — read this first. I am the founder of Daniks.AI. This is a comparison from the perspective of someone who built one of the tools being compared. The analysis below is as honest as I can make it — I flag where Daniks.AI is weaker — but read it with that context.

Daniks.AI vs Perpetua is the question I get most often since both tools come up in the same sentence as “Amazon PPC automation.” The short answer: they are different tools for different sellers. Perpetua is an enterprise retail-media platform. Daniks.AI is an AI autopilot for Amazon PPC. Who needs what depends on ad budget, team size, and how much time you want to put into PPC.

Here is the detailed comparison with real numbers.

Quick summary

  • Daniks.AI starts at $49/month, Perpetua at $695/month. At the same $20,000/month ad budget you pay $299 with Daniks.AI and $695 plus a percentage with Perpetua.
  • Daniks.AI is a true autopilot system: set target ACoS, walk away, check in weekly. Perpetua expects a PPC manager who actively steers.
  • Perpetua covers Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, and Google. Daniks.AI focuses exclusively on Amazon.
  • Daniks.AI offers a 14-day trial with no credit card. Perpetua requires a sales call.
  • Both manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.

What is Perpetua?

Perpetua (part of Ascential) is a retail-media platform for e-commerce brands and agencies. It covers Amazon, Walmart, Instacart, and Google Shopping in a single dashboard. Its strength is breadth: if you advertise across multiple marketplaces at once and have a dedicated ads team, you get cross-channel reporting, share-of-voice data, and DSP access from one interface.

Perpetua was one of the first platforms to fully integrate Amazon Marketing Stream. Hourly reporting and intraday bid adjustments are standard. The target audience is brands with $50,000 to $500,000+ monthly ad budgets and teams that want to professionally manage PPC, not automate it away.

What is Daniks.AI?

Daniks.AI is an AI-powered Amazon PPC automation that I built in 2018 for my own Daniks cookware listings (number one in Germany, top 20 in the U.S.). The core principle: you connect your Amazon Ads account, set a target ACoS, and an AI agent takes over bid management, keyword harvesting, negative management, and campaign creation. No rule set to configure. No bulk-file uploads. One agent optimizing against your ACoS target.

The target audience is Amazon sellers with $1,000 to $100,000 monthly ad spend who do not have a dedicated PPC manager and do not want one. The full Daniks.AI review is here.

Price comparison: Daniks.AI vs Perpetua

This is the point where most buying decisions are made.

What you pay at $20,000 ad budget

For a typical mid-size seller with $20,000/month ad budget, here is the math:

  • Daniks.AI Growth: $299/month
  • Perpetua Growth: $695/month + a percentage (the exact percentage is set during the sales call)

But the software fee alone is only half the story. Perpetua expects a human to operate the tool: build campaign structures, monitor performance, adjust targets. Figure 5-10 hours per week. With Daniks.AI, the subscription is the entire cost, because the agent handles the operational work.

Degree of automation: the decisive difference

This is the biggest difference between Daniks.AI and Perpetua, and it matters more than any feature in the table above.

Perpetua is a powerful cockpit. You sit at the controls, you fly the plane. The tool gives you better instruments, better data, and algorithmic bid adjustments. But you need to know what you are doing. You need to design campaign structures, set goals per campaign, interpret search-term reports, and make strategic decisions. Perpetua’s own documentation assumes an experienced PPC manager operating the tool.

Daniks.AI is closer to an autopilot. You set the target ACoS, the agent handles the rest. Campaign creation, bid adjustments, keyword harvesting, negative management. You can intervene at any time, but you do not have to. Most of my users switch to full automation after two to three weeks and check the dashboard once a week.

What this means in practice

Take Lisa, who sells a kitchen product on Amazon.de. She has no agency, no VA, and no interest in spending three hours every Friday in bulk files. With Perpetua she would need to either build PPC expertise herself or hire someone. With Daniks.AI she connects her account, sets 25% ACoS as a target, and checks in briefly on Mondays to see if the numbers look right.

Now take Max, who is an ads manager at an agency with ten Amazon brands, a Walmart account, and an Instacart channel. He needs cross-channel reporting, hourly data, and share of voice against competitors. Perpetua is built for Max.

Where Perpetua is stronger

I am being honest — there are areas where Perpetua wins:

Multi-channel management. If you advertise on Walmart, Instacart, or Google Shopping alongside Amazon, Perpetua puts it all in one dashboard. Daniks.AI does Amazon only. Period.

Amazon DSP. Perpetua supports Demand-Side Platform campaigns for programmatic display advertising outside of Amazon. Daniks.AI does not.

Hourly reporting. Through its Amazon Marketing Stream integration, Perpetua delivers hourly performance data and intraday optimizations. That is a real advantage for brands with six-figure monthly budgets where hourly bid adjustments have measurable impact.

Share-of-voice data. Perpetua shows you how your brand stacks up against competitors in specific keywords. For brands in competitive categories, that is strategically valuable.

Enterprise reporting. For agencies that need to deliver quarterly reports to stakeholders, Perpetua has stronger reporting templates and cross-channel attribution.

Where Daniks.AI is stronger

True autopilot. This is the core difference. Daniks.AI replaces the PPC manager. Perpetua gives the PPC manager better tools. If you do not have a PPC manager and do not want one, the decision is clear.

Price. At every ad budget under $50,000/month, Daniks.AI is significantly cheaper. The Growth plan at $299/month costs less than half of Perpetua’s entry-level plan.

Barrier to entry. Start a trial in 60 seconds vs. book a sales call and wait for onboarding. For sellers who want to start this week, that is a real difference.

AI agent vs. rule engine. Daniks.AI is a reinforcement-learning agent that treats every campaign as a live environment. Perpetua works goal-based with algorithmic bid adjustments, which in practice is closer to a rule engine. You feel the difference after about three weeks, when the agent starts recognizing patterns that no rule set can capture.

Campaign creation. Enter an ASIN, Daniks.AI builds the complete campaign structure: Exact, Phrase, Broad, Auto, Product Targeting. In about 90 seconds. Perpetua supports campaign creation, but not at the same one-click level.

Case-study data

I have two public side-by-side comparisons showing what the Daniks.AI agent delivers in practice:

Fornel (children’s furniture, December 2025): Daniks.AI achieved 5.8 RoAS at 17.1% ACoS vs. 5.2 RoAS at 19.2% ACoS for parallel manual management. Conversion rate was 44% higher on the AI side (7.50% vs. 5.21%).

Tropeza (artificial plants, August 2024): Daniks.AI achieved 3.1 RoAS at 32.7% ACoS vs. 1.8 RoAS at 56.6% ACoS for manual management. CPC 11% lower, conversion rate 73% higher.

Both comparisons ran on the same accounts, in the same time period, with the same product catalog. These are Daniks.AI numbers against a human operator, not against Perpetua directly. I do not have a head-to-head Daniks.AI vs. Perpetua comparison on the same account. If you are running such a test, let me know — I will publish data even if it does not favor me.

Who should pick which tool?

Choose Perpetua if:

  • You spend $100,000+/month across multiple retail channels (Amazon + Walmart + Instacart)
  • You have a dedicated ads team investing 10+ hours per week in PPC management
  • You need enterprise reporting for stakeholders
  • You want to use Amazon DSP
  • Your budget justifies the $695/month minimum

Choose Daniks.AI if:

  • Your focus is Amazon (one or multiple marketplaces: US, UK, DE, FR, ES, IT, CA)
  • Your ad budget is between $1,000 and $100,000/month
  • You do not have a dedicated PPC manager and do not want to hire one
  • You prefer transparent pricing without a sales call
  • You want a true autopilot, not a better dashboard

Neither fits if:

You are pre-launch with no sales history. Both tools need data to optimize. Focus first on listing optimization and your first product before investing in PPC automation.

FAQ

What is the biggest difference between Daniks.AI and Perpetua?

The degree of automation. Daniks.AI is an AI agent that replaces PPC management — you set a target ACoS and the agent steers everything. Perpetua is a platform that gives a human PPC manager better tools. Without a PPC manager, you will not get full value from Perpetua.

Which tool is cheaper at $20,000 ad budget?

Daniks.AI costs $299/month (Growth plan). Perpetua costs at least $695/month plus a percentage of ad budget set during the sales call. Plus the working time of the person operating Perpetua.

Can I use Daniks.AI and Perpetua together?

Technically yes, practically no. Both tools manage bids and keywords. If two systems optimize the same campaigns simultaneously, they work against each other. Pick one.

Does Perpetua have a trial?

Perpetua does not offer a public free trial. Access is through a sales call and onboarding. Daniks.AI offers 14 days free without a credit card.

Do both tools work on Amazon.de?

Yes. Both support the German Amazon marketplace. Daniks.AI supports US, UK, DE, FR, ES, IT, and CA. Perpetua supports all Amazon marketplaces plus Walmart and Instacart.

Do I need PPC experience for Daniks.AI?

A basic understanding of ACoS and campaign types helps but is not required. Daniks.AI is built so that you set a target ACoS and the agent handles the rest. For Perpetua you need PPC experience or someone on your team who has it.

The PPC strategy I recommend on top of either tool stays the same three-phase structure: Discovery, Targeting, Optimization. The difference is whether a human or an agent runs the phases.
